Lorie, along with Theresa Bohls of Hope on the Way, hosts Isaac DeLa Cerda as he shares his traumatic upbringing in San Antonio, marked by drug addiction and family dysfunction, leading to foster care at 14. Isaac recounts his struggles with addiction, including overdoses and homelessness, and his eventual spiritual awakening through reading the Bible. Isaac emphasizes the importance of repentance and the power of the Holy Spirit in overcoming addiction. The conversation concludes with a prayer for healing and hope. Lorie and Barb host William McManis, Founder of WSM Wellness.  William's turning point came when he met Barb at Church Under the Bridge. There, he found his tribe – and soon after, he found Christ. He has a big heart for the homeless. Once homeless himself, he experienced the kindness of strangers who fed and cared for him. Now, he's made it his mission to give back with the same compassion. He cooks from the back of his car and takes food out into homeless camps. Be sure to tune in to hear William's touching testimony.

This week Barb and Lorie made beautiful declarations over our Texas government. They also gave some simple tips to help you find out who your local council members are.  Finally they discussed the simplicity of hearing God - which begins with surrendering to Him. When you truly give Him your heart, your whole life becomes miraculous.
