Episode 121 - aired 11-16-25 Follow the Star pt 1

Lorie Meynig and Barb Bucklin invited Pastor Steven at Good Shepherd Church in Cedar Park, TX and Stephanie Weiss, a volunteer, to talk about the Follow the Star event coming up in December.  This event, which started in 1994 in California, has grown from 4 to 10 scenes depicting the life of Christ. Over 89,000 people have attended in 13 years, raising over $56,000 and 48,000 pounds of food for Hill Country Community Ministries. Attendees witness to how wonderful this event is for the whole family.  It has even led to numerous spiritual transformations, including baptisms and restored marriages. Community involvement is high, with volunteers and attendees coming from various cities, including Dallas and San Antonio. This year's event will be held on December 4-6.

Your hosts, Lorie Meynig and Barb Bucklin, invited Mel Jones to  discuss the "10 Days" event in Austin, a period of prayer and worship from September 22 to October 2, coinciding with the  Feast of Trumpets up thru the Day of Atonement.  Activities include worship, prayer, and decrees, with specific themes for each day. Participants are coming from across Texas to join in a cry for unity and the return of Jesus. This event is happening at every state capitol and around the world.  Local and State representatives are invited to come worship with their constituents.  Resources are also available for children's activities.
